Electronics Technician for Industrial Engineering (m/f/d)

to be awarded in accordance with individual classification requirements in pay grade 5/6 of the Collective Bargaining Agreement for Public Utilities (TV-V).

Approximately 15,000 people live in the Winnweiler Municipal Association, which comprises 13 local communities. Wastewater disposal for the current 5,600 households is provided by the Municipal Association Utilities through its “Wastewater Treatment Plant” division. The staff at the wastewater treatment plant maintain a 145-km pipeline network, seven wastewater treatment plants of various sizes, 23 stormwater relief systems, and 27 pumping stations.

Your responsibilities will include, in particular

Maintenance and Servicing of Wastewater Treatment Facilities

• Operation and Maintenance of Pumping Stations and Stormwater Relief Systems
• Implementing and Evaluating Measurement, Control, and Regulation Processes

Year-Round On-Call Duty on a Rotating Basis

What you should bring

• Completed training as an electronics technician specializing in industrial electronics
• Willingness to pursue continuing education while working to qualify for the new occupational profile of “Environmental Technologist for Wastewater Treatment”
• Mobility (Class B, BE, or old Class 3 drivers license)
• Several years of professional experience in the field of equipment maintenance and repair

Strategic and analytical thinking and a structured approach

• The Winnweiler district fire department has a vacancy for a voluntary social year (FSJ) to be filled as soon as possible.

The tasks include

Support for training and exercise operations
