Wastewater disposal for the current 5,600 households is provided by the Municipal Association Utilities through its “Wastewater Treatment Plant” division. The staff at the wastewater treatment plant maintain a 145-km pipeline network, seven wastewater treatment plants of various sizes, 23 stormwater relief systems, and 27 pumping stations.

Your responsibilities will include, in particular

Maintenance and Servicing of Wastewater Treatment Facilities

• Operation and Maintenance of Pumping Stations and Stormwater Relief Systems
• Implementing and Evaluating Measurement, Control, and Regulation Processes

Year-Round On-Call Duty on a Rotating Basis

What you should bring

• Completed training as an electronics technician specializing in industrial electronics
• Willingness to pursue continuing education while working to qualify for the new occupational profile of “Environmental Technologist for Wastewater Treatment”
• Mobility (Class B, BE, or old Class 3 drivers license)
• Several years of professional experience in the field of equipment maintenance and repair

Strategic and analytical thinking and a structured approach

• The Winnweiler district fire department has a vacancy for a voluntary social year (FSJ) to be filled as soon as possible.

The tasks include
