This dual study programme offers you in-depth, practice-oriented training at the interface between mathematics and economics – ideal for a career in financial supervision. The degree programme, offered in partnership with Koblenz University of Applied Sciences, trains you to become a specialist in quantitative analysis within the finance and insurance sectors.

The programme provides you with comprehensive expertise with a focus on:

Applied mathematics: You will learn applied mathematics methods that are specifically relevant to the finance and insurance sectors (e.g. stochastics, statistics).

Economic issues: Emphasis is placed on applying mathematical models to solve business management problems and assess financial risks.

Practical phases at Bafin: On-the-job training takes place during the practical phases at Bafin, where you can directly apply and expand on the theoretical knowledge you have gained.

Upon successful completion, you will be awarded a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree.
