Your responsibilities

• As an intern in our Business Strategy team, you will gain first-hand experience in shaping the future of energy markets and Unipers Strategy. Your main tasks will include:
• Supporting analysis of current and future energy market trends covering the full range of business Uniper is active in incl. transformative growth areas (e.g. BESS, flexibility, renewables)
• Assisting in the preparation of business cases and portfolio transformation ideas
• Contributing to assessments of Unipers current business strategies by integrating technical, commercial, and regulatory perspectives
• Helping to prepare presentations and communication material for internal stakeholders and management

Project collaboration

• Work closely with colleagues across the company (e.g. Energy Asset Operations, Controlling, Asset Project-Development, Power- and Gas-Trading etc.) and gain insight into different business functions
• Support in the coordination of project activities and stakeholder workshops
• Assist in aligning project assumptions and preparing summaries of results for various reporting lines

Your profile

• You are currently enrolled in a university program (engineering, economics, social or natural sciences or a related field, energy-related studies preferred)
• 3-6 months of full-time availability for the internship
• Strong interest in the energy industry and its transformation
• Initial experience (through university projects, internships, or student jobs) in energy, business, or policy-related topics is an advantage

Analytical mindset with enthusiasm to learn and contribute

Good communication skills, both written and spoken

Very good English skills; knowledge of another European language (e.g. German, Dutch, Italian, French) is a plus

Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
