Hotel Gastronomy Guest Service Team Responsibility

• As Duty Manager, you will play an active role in day-to-day operations while supporting our hotel management and restaurant management team. In their absence, you will take responsibility for the smooth running of daily operations.
• You will be a reliable point of contact for guests and employees, keep an eye on daily processes and ensure that even challenging situations are handled professionally and with a solution-oriented approach.
• We are looking for someone who thinks ahead, takes responsibility and does not just organise – but gets involved and lends a hand.

Your role with us

What you can expect

• 01 Be a host
• You keep our guests in mind, listen to their needs and ensure that they receive friendly, attentive and professional service. You also handle special requests and complaints confidently and professionally.
• 02 Take responsibility
• You support hotel and restaurant management with organisational and operational tasks and take responsibility for daily operations when the management team is absent.
• 03 Support the team
• You support, coordinate and guide our employees during day-to-day operations. You lead by example and remain actively involved in the work yourself.
• 04 Maintain standards
• You ensure that our service and quality standards are maintained and that friendliness, attentiveness and availability are a natural part of our daily operations.
• 05 Find solutions
• You recognise independently when something is not running smoothly, make decisions within your area of responsibility and find practical solutions.
• For us, experience is not the only thing that matters. Attitude matters too.
• A guest is waiting? You make sure they are noticed and looked after.
• The phone is ringing? You take responsibility for ensuring that our guests can reach us.
• Something is not running smoothly? You look for a solution instead of waiting for someone else to act.
• The team needs support? You do not just coordinate – you also lend a hand yourself.

Your profile

What you bring to the role

Experience & training

You have professional experience in the hotel and/or restaurant industry and have completed relevant vocational training.

Leadership & responsibility

You have experience in leading employees, can provide guidance and are prepared to take responsibility and make decisions.

Organisation & overview

You keep an overview even when several things are happening at the same time, set priorities and work independently and reliably.

Hospitality & personality

A friendly, approachable and professional manner comes naturally to you – even when things get busy.

Hands-on mentality

You recognise what is needed and understand that leadership is not only about delegating, but also about working alongside the team.
