We are looking for a full-time project development manager to support our project development activities in Hungary.

Job description

You will manage our integrated renewable energy projects development activities in Hungary. Your primary duties will require working closely with management teams, all local stakeholders including regulatory and permitting bodies in the energy and electricity sectors, group subsidiaries, investors, business partners and external advisors.

Tasks

• Proactively originate, manage, and support the development, construction and operation of integrated energy solutions projects in Hungary.
• Manage and support the licensing process of the installation of our thermal energy storage solutions in accordance with the applicable regulations in Hungary.
• Manage and support the process of securing land lease agreements, grid connection access and all other permitting and licenses for construction of the projects.
• Identify, negotiate, and conclude supply contracts with local suppliers, consultants and service providers as necessary.
• Work closely with the engineering and technical teams in providing guidance on client requirements and thereby make significant contributions to the solution design.
• Coordinate the construction of projects and set up structures for the operational phase of said projects.
• Liaise with sales and financing teams, scouts, JV partners and monitor the sales and financing activities.
• Prepare relevant project documentation and review external contracts with assistance from the legal advisors.
• Develop and evaluate investment proposals, project risk assessments and submissions to authorities.
• Create and manage project budgets and monitor project portfolio funding needs.
• Maintain active communication channels and manage relationships with management, partners, consultants and advisors to ensure optimal project development.
• Manage project timelines, report regular project status, feasibility, project risks and budgets.

Position Requirments

• Proven track record in developing renewable (PV, Wind, Biomass etc.) or other energy projects from green field.
• Thorough understanding of the permitting requirements and the development process of energy projects in Hungary.
• Experience in designing or solid understanding of technical designs of energy projects such as installation of an industrial boiler or a power plant would be an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the energy industry. Experience in renewable energy project development would be an advantage.
• Bachelors or masters degree in engineering/economics/business or a related field.
• Exemplary organizational skills with strong attention to details and follow-through.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Inclination to data analysis and data management.
• Self-driven and able to work independently with little direct oversight, performs well in a team.
• Flexibility and willingness to work in a small office.
• Applicants must be fluent in Hungarian and English. Additional European languages desirable.
• Availability to travel (30%).

We are looking for a Bookkeeper/Controller (m/f/d), full-time or part-time, based in Berlin, with growth potential into a Head of Finance role.

Your Responsibilities

• - Manage the accounting and financial transactions of our group companies
• - Support the preparation of annual financial statements and tax returns in collaboration with our external tax advisors (HGB)- Develop and enhance financial reports and KPIs- Assist in preparing analyses and presentations for senior management
• - Coordinate ongoing accounting activities with external partners- Oversee related financial processes such as payments and intercompany loan administration
• - Prepare financial insights and results for internal presentations
• - Property management: Experience with SIDOMO software and commercial accounting/bookkeeping- Experience in preparing utility bills for commercial tenants

Your Profile

• - Completed commercial training with further qualification as Bilanzbuchhalter, or a degree in business administration, ideally with a focus on accounting/controlling
• - Professional experience in accounting or controlling- Strong affinity for numbers and excellent Excel skills; confident user of MS Office
• - Good German and very strong English skills, both written and spoken
• - Team-oriented mindset with a structured, analytical, and independent working style
