"Students Wanted for Collaboration in an Engineering Office for Energy Consulting

Our engineering office 'Competence Center for Real Estate Management & Energy Consulting' offers comprehensive planning services to investors – private individuals, companies, and municipalities – who wish to energetically refurbish existing properties or build energy-efficient houses. These services include:

- Planning of new buildings - Preparation of thermal insulation certificates

- Planning of energy-efficient houses

• - Preparation of ecological balances (life cycle analyses)
• - Preparation of expert opinions
• - Preparation of heating concepts

- Conducting room-specific heating load calculations

• - Calculation of hydraulic balancing according to procedure B
• - Preparation of energy certificates - demand certificates / consumption certificates

- Funding advice

- Application for KfW or BAFA funding programs including processing

- Energetic construction supervision

- Preparation of ventilation concepts

We are looking for students who will gradually take on the following tasks in energy-related projects:

- Physical representation of a residential building

• - Analysis of different system concepts
• - Heating systems
• - Ventilation systems
• - Photovoltaic systems
• - Solar thermal systems
• - Planning of energy-efficient houses
• The applicant should bring the following competencies:
• - Analytical skills
• - Basic knowledge of mathematics
• - Communication skills and teamwork

- Excel skills

The student position will be available from August 2024. Training in the basics of energy calculations will be provided, as well as performance-based compensation. Previous knowledge in the field of energy consulting is not required. Further details will be explained in a personal interview. The weekly working hours initially amount to 6 to 8 hours.
