Greentech Partners (GTP) is an owner-managed consultancy for the greentech and energy transition sector. We advise project developers, OEMs, suppliers, investors and industrial companies across wind, solar, battery storage (BESS) and adjacent segments on strategy, performance improvement and turnaround. Your role

We are building an internal data platform that will become a core part of how GTP works. You own the technical build end to end. We are looking for someone analytically sharp and hard-working who wants to build the data and AI backbone of a leading energy-transition advisory firm with us. We will go into detail on the project in the interview.

Your responsibilities

• Data model: You design and own the data model of the platform.
• Pipelines: You build and maintain the pipelines that keep the data current.
• Web application: You build and ship the web application our team uses.

Your profile

• Degree in computer science, data engineering or a related field, mainly as evidence that you can see something through to the end
• Practical experience through internships, working student roles or your own projects; we do not expect a full-time job history
• Solid backend fundamentals: SQL and relational data modelling, comfortable designing a schema from a written specification rather than a finished ticket
• Fluency with modern AI coding tools (e.g. Claude Code) as your primary way of building, not just autocomplete
• Frontend ability sufficient to ship a clean, usable web app; you do not need to be a design specialist
• Comfort with ambiguity: you will often get a written brief and priorities rather than a fully specified task, and are expected to ask sharp questions rather than wait
• Fluent English; solid German, since many of our sources are German-language
• No prior energy or wind industry background required, we will brief you on the domain
