Senior HSE Manager (all genders)

Your future tasks:

Lead and continuously improve the HSE management system across O&M activities, ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, lender, ISO 45001/14001, IFC Performance Standards, and Equator Principles requirements

Develop, implement, and monitor O&M HSE plans, objectives, KPIs, budgets, reporting processes, and performance improvement initiatives

Act as the primary HSE advisor and liaison for O&M leadership, contractors, authorities, and external stakeholders

Drive a strong HSE culture through leadership, training, behavioural change initiatives, competency development, and workforce engagement

Lead HSE risk management activities, including hazard identification, risk assessments, contractor assurance, incident investigations, and corrective actions

Conduct HSE audits, inspections, monitoring, and performance reporting, ensuring effective implementation of preventive and improvement measures

Support ESG initiatives, promote best practices, and identify opportunities to improve environmental, social, and governance performance across O&M operations

Exercise stop-work authority where necessary to prevent unacceptable health, safety, or environmental risks

Your profile:

Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering, Technical, or Management disciplines

Several years HSE management experience and extensive environmental management experience in offshore wind, oil & gas, or major infrastructure O&M projects

NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent HSE qualification; offshore medical certification required

Preferred SiFa and/or SiGeKo certification

Strong knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001, IFC Performance Standards, Equator Principles, and international HSE best practices (e.g., G+, GWO)

Competence in HSE risk assessment and incident investigation methodologies (e.g., HAZOP, FMEA, Bowtie, TapRooT), with IRCA Internal Auditor qualification

Technical expertise in one or more areas: electrical systems, heavy lifting, marine operations, DROPS, SIMOPS, and LOTO

Strong project management, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills, with experience working in diverse international teams and fluency in English and German
