Vielfältige Aufgaben

A wide range of tasks

Own and further develop position reporting, PnL views and risk transparency for FX and IR across EnBWs energy trading and asset portfolios

Act as key interface between Market Risk, Controlling, Treasury and Front Office, ensuring consistent FX/IR hedging and limit adherence

Design, review and optimise FX and IR hedging strategies for power plants, gas assets, LNG and proprietary trading books, including FX cash management

Maintain and enhance working procedures, hedging guidelines and limit systems for Front Office, ensuring robust governance in an international trading setup

Perform quantitative analysis to support risk-based decision making and solution design for complex physical and financial commodity structures

Überzeugendes Profil

Convincing profile

University degree in mathematics, physics, economics or a comparable quantitative discipline, with 5–10 years experience in market risk in energy/commodities trading

Deep market knowledge of energy and commodities (e.g. physical coal, LNG, ammonia) and international asset portfolios, including FX and IR risk dimensions

Proven expertise in FX exposure analysis for complex commodity deals, delta representation and cash management for foreign-currency traded portfolios

Solid programming skills in Python or another modern language, enabling automation and advanced quantitative risk analytics in an energy trading environment

Strong stakeholder communication skills, fluent in English (German advantageous), able to clearly present risk to traders and senior management

EnBWs Trading business unit is EnBWs central market access point to the energy markets. We are active in key European markets and on international energy exchanges. Our Trading unit is responsible for the optimal management of EnBWs portfolio, is active in the trading of renewable energies and thus supports the Energiewende. We are also involved in future topics such as hydrogen or smart & digital in trading, as well as in new supply contracts and the management of renewable energies. EnBWs Business Unit Trading operates with an international team with employees from more than 30 nations, represented at 4 European locations: Germany, England, Norway and Switzerland.
