Officer (m/f/d) for the area of “Communication with a focus on social media”.

The Association of Gas Transmission System Operators e.V. (FNB Gas), headquartered in Berlin, is the association of German transmission system operators, i.e., the major supraregional and cross-border gas transport companies, founded in 2012. One of the associations focal points in terms of content is the gas network development plan, which has been prepared by the transmission system operators since 2012. In addition, the association also represents its members as a contact partner vis-à-vis politics, the media and the public.

To strengthen our team in Berlin, we are looking for a consultant (m/f/d) for the area of “Communication with a focus on social media” to start as soon as possible. with a focus on social media” on a part-time basis (20 hours per week).

The position is limited to 2 years.

Activity:

The focus of the activity is to support the communication activities of the association. The focus here is on the social media activities of FNB Gas.

Preparation of association topics for external communication

Coordination of social media activities with FNB Gas member companies.

Monitoring the social media activities of relevant stakeholders

Performance reporting of the FNB Gas social media channels

Communication with political decision-makers, think tanks and relevant industry associations

Management of external agencies to accompany and support the associations work in the area of social media

Requirements:

Studies in media, administration, politics or economics

At least 2 years of professional experience in the energy industry/energy policy or media in Germany

Professional experience in dealing with and managing social media activities

Good understanding of the energy industry interrelationships desirable

High degree of organizational skills, independence, initiative, willingness to work hard and ability to work in a team as well as goal orientation and strong customer focus

Confident appearance and strong communication skills

Excellent editorial and language skills

English spoken and written
