MTIC Group is a global leader in Testing, Inspection, Certification, and Training. To support our expanding digital portfolio, we are growing our Information Security & AI Certification (IS&AI) Department and seeking a Department Manager & Lead Auditor for ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO/IEC 42001.

Role Summary

In this leadership and technical role, you will manage departmental operations, scheme expansion, and accreditation compliance under ISO/IEC 17021-1, while leading third-party audits and supervising our team of auditors and technical experts.

Key Responsibilities

Manage operations, quality assurance, and accreditation scopes for ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO/IEC 42001.

Qualify, assign, and supervise internal and freelance Lead Auditors and Technical Experts.

Act as the senior technical authority for client inquiries, technical committees, and accreditation audits.

Plan and conduct ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO/IEC 42001 third-party audits.

Evaluate client information security frameworks, threat management strategies, AI impact assessments, and governance policies.

Prepare objective audit reports, ensure strict impartiality, monitor corrective actions, and oversee technical approvals.

Technical Qualifications & Requirements

Education: Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, IT, Engineering, or a related field.

Certifications: Certified ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Auditor (IRCA or equivalent) and qualified ISO/IEC 42001 Lead Auditor (or completed conversion training).

Experience: 4+ years in Information Security, Cybersecurity, or AI Governance; 4+ years auditing within an ISO/IEC 17021 Certification Body environment.

Languages: Professional fluency in English. Italian or other European languages are a plus.
