Head of Solar Development Engineering (f/m/d)

Your responsibilities

Lead and manage the Development Engineering team across the project portfolio

Provide technical leadership throughout the project development lifecycle

Oversee engineering studies, preliminary design, and technical assessments

Optimize projects for technical performance, cost, and constructability

Ensure compliance with applicable standards, regulations, and company requirements

Drive digitalization and continuous improvement of engineering processes, tools, and data management to enhance efficiency and quality

Manage technical risks and support project due diligence

Coordinate with Development, Grid, Civil, Procurement, and Project Management teams

Support technology selection, grid connection strategy, and project execution readiness

Your profile

Bachelors or masters degree in electrical, Mechanical, Renewable Energy, or a related Engineering discipline

Minimum 7+ years of experience in renewable energy engineering, including utility-scale Solar projects

Minimum 3+ years of experience leading and developing multidisciplinary engineering teams

Strong knowledge of Solar PV, BESS, grid connection, and project development

Experience in project optimization, technical due diligence, and risk management

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
