The Fire Department employs over 720 full-time and approximately 2,100 volunteer firefighters. They stand by the citizens in all emergencies to ensure that fire and disaster protection in Stuttgart is guaranteed around the clock. As a Digitalization Manager (Digital Mover), you will play a key role and actively drive the digital transformation forward.

As a Digital Specialist, your responsibilities will include initiating and supporting digitalization projects and initiatives within the Fire Department

As a champion for digitalization within the Fire Department, you will be responsible for coordinating, implementing, and further developing the digitalization strategy and business process management within the Fire Department

You will shape agency-specific change processes in collaboration with the Fire Departments specialized departments and the central change management team

You will plan and coordinate measures to inform and engage employees within the Fire Department

You will analyze business processes for optimization potential, drive the digitization of processes, and support business process management

You will participate in the citys network of Digital Movers, the IT organization, and the digital transformation advisory team

Your profile that suits us

A bachelors degree in public management, public administration, economics, information science, or social sciences, or a comparable qualification

An interest in digitalization topics and enthusiasm for new technologies and digital trends, as well as the resulting changes

Strong analytical, project- and process-oriented thinking, conceptual skills, and good presentation and facilitation skills

High level of initiative, assertiveness, and strong teamwork and communication skills

Initial experience in project management

An affinity for the field of firefighting and civil protection

Experience in facilitating change processes and in business process management is desirable

We are offering a position in pay grade (opens in a new tab) A 12 (€4,526.46 – €5,739.22) /pay group (opens in a new tab) 11 TVöD (€4,269.64 – €6,326.77).

All amounts are monthly gross figures based on full-time employment.
