To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Head of BESS & Renewables (m/f/d) to join us at the earliest possible date in Munich. In this role, you will lead and further develop our BESS & Renewables business with full responsibility for commercial performance, growth, and strategic direction.

Your responsibilities

Lead and further develop the BESS & Renewables business with full responsibility for commercial performance, growth and strategic direction

Own and scale all commercial activities across Sales, Key Account Management, Business Development and Product Management

Shape and evolve Entelios value proposition, commercial offerings and monetization models

Define and execute the market strategy for battery storage and renewable energy assets

Identify new business opportunities, revenue streams and strategic partnerships

Build and strengthen long-term relationships with optimizers, investors, developers, utilities and asset owners

Build, lead and develop a high-performing team

Foster close collaboration with Technology, Optimization, Onboarding and Finance

Continuously improve processes, governance structures and cross-functional ways of working

Your profile

University degree in Engineering, Energy Economics, Business Administration, Finance or a related field

Several years of experience in the energy sector with strong exposure to BESS, renewable energy or flexibility markets

Proven background in one or more of the following areas: project development, battery optimization and trading, or project finance for energy assets

Deep understanding of power markets, flexibility products and ancillary services

Strong commercial mindset with experience in business development, sales, strategic partnerships and customer management

Strong knowledge of BESS business models, asset economics and revenue optimization strategies

Demonstrated leadership experience and P&L responsibility

Entrepreneurial personality with a hands-on approach and excellent stakeholder management skills

Fluent German and English
