In this role, you will support global clients in navigating and responding to rapidly evolving regulatory and voluntary frameworks. You will help multinational clients translate complex requirements into actionable strategies across their operations, sourcing, and value chains, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams across climate, ESG, supply chain, and digital services to deliver integrated, high-impact solutions.

What We Are Looking For

The role requires a unique combination of technical expertise, strategic insight, and strong client delivery capability, including experience or knowledge in:

Nature risk assessment (e.g., TNFD-aligned approaches).

Land use change and traceability.

Forest-risk commodities.

Key Responsibilities

Project Responsibilities

Support clients in setting and implementing forest-positive strategies and deforestation-free supply chains.

Identify and manage nature DIROs (dependencies, impacts, risks, and opportunities).

Ensure high-quality and timely delivery of all assigned tasks.

Regulatory & Framework Advisory (EUDR & SBTN)

Support clients in interpreting and operationalizing EUDR requirements, including due diligence systems, traceability, geolocation, and risk assessments.

Advise on SBTN target setting (particularly the No Conversion of Natural Ecosystems target), including baseline development, target pathways, and implementation planning.

Forest & Nature Expertise

Provide technical advisory on forest-risk commodities, land-use change, and ecosystem conversion, including risk screening, hotspot analysis, and mitigation strategies.

Conduct nature-related dependencies, impacts, risks, and opportunities (DIRO) assessments aligned with TNFD and leading market practices.

Client Management

Build trusted advisor relationships with clients to support strategic decision-making.

Help organizations embed forest and nature considerations into core business strategies, procurement, and investment decisions.

Data, Traceability & Analytics

Support clients in developing traceability systems, supplier engagement programs, and data frameworks to meet regulatory and voluntary disclosure requirements.

Apply geospatial, supply chain, or commodity-level data analysis where relevant.

Reporting & Disclosure

Translate complex technical content into clear, credible disclosures and narratives.

Support reporting frameworks such as CDP Forests, TNFD, and integrated ESG disclosures.

Business Development

Contribute to proposals and client pitches, particularly in areas related to EUDR readiness, SBTN target setting, and forest-positive strategies.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

Technical Expertise & Experience

3+ years of experience in sustainability, with a specific focus on forestry, land use, or forest-risk commodity supply chains.

Demonstrated experience with the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) or similar due diligence frameworks (e.g., traceability, geolocation, and risk assessment).

Familiarity with SBTN (Science Based Targets Network), particularly land and freshwater targets, as well as the No Conversion of Natural Ecosystems target.
