Warehouse Specialist (w/m/d) located in Gelsenkirchen

Uniper Kraftwerke GmbH in Gelsenkirchen is looking for you!

In this role, you will be responsible for the proper receipt, inspection, storage and dispatch of goods. You will ensure a smooth flow of materials in the warehouse and support internal processes.

Your responsibilities

Receiving, checking and recording incoming goods for quantity, quality and completeness

Storing materials correctly, taking into account storage locations and storage strategies

Picking orders and preparing materials

Packaging and preparation for dispatch in accordance with dispatch regulations

Loading and unloading of lorries using industrial trucks/overhead cranes

Carrying out regular stock checks and assisting with stock-taking

Internal transport of goods and materials

Operation of warehouse equipment and industrial trucks

Ensuring order, cleanliness and health and safety in the warehouse area

Your profile

Completed vocational training, ideally in warehouse logistics or a related field

Valid forklift licence

Crane licence desirable

Initial experience in warehouse and logistics an advantage

Knowledge of SAP an advantage

Proficiency in MS Office

Meticulous, reliable and team-oriented approach to work

Physical stamina and a sense of responsibility

Technical understanding and a meticulous, structured approach to work

Willingness to be on-call

Willingness to develop professionally and participate in further training and courses
