Your mission:

As Team Lead / Head of Project Management (m/f/d) PV & BESS, you will be responsible for building, leading, and further developing our project management department. You will manage a growing project team, develop standards, ensure efficient processes, and guarantee the technical, economic, and timely success of our photovoltaic and battery storage projects. You will combine operational project experience with strategic leadership competence: you will create structures, prioritize resources, support your team with complex technical issues, and further develop the project business in collaboration with adjacent departments.

Your tasks:

Technical and disciplinary leadership of the project management team in the area of photovoltaic and battery storage.

Responsibility for the successful implementation of complex PV and BESS projects across all project phases

Management of project portfolios in terms of quality, budget, deadlines, and resources

Development and further development of unified project management standards, methods, and processes

Supporting the team with technical and organizational challenges

Interface management between internal and external partners

Escalation management and active risk management

Responsibility for grid connection processes, technical acceptance, and commissioning at the portfolio level

Contribution to the further development of economic models for storage integration, direct marketing, and flexibility marketing.

Support in personnel development, recruiting, and team competency building

What you bring with you:

Completed studies in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, Industrial Engineering, or comparable qualification

Several years of relevant professional experience in project management of photovoltaic, energy, or infrastructure projects

Experience in leading teams or in leading project responsibility

In-depth knowledge in the areas of photovoltaics, battery storage, and electrical infrastructure

Experience with AC grid connection, grid connection processes, as well as technical standards and regulatory requirements

Strong organizational understanding and ability to prioritize complex project landscapes

Secure handling of project management tools and ERP systems, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365

Communication skills, decision-making ability, and entrepreneurial thinking

Experience in building scalable project organizations

Knowledge in the area of battery storage marketing, load management, or energy economics
