Job Description

Were looking for a talented Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our team and help us maintain the reliability, scalability, and performance of our systems.

As Site Reliability Engineer, youll be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the reliability and availability of our production environments. Youll work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks, ensure smooth operations, and improve overall system health. Your primary focus will be on ensuring that our systems are reliable, scalable, and performant, while also collaborating with development teams to implement new features and technologies.

At Enpal, you would

design, implement, and maintain the reliability and availability of production environments

develop and implement monitoring and logging tools to ensure system health and performance

collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., development, platform, security) to identify and mitigate risks

ensure that systems are designed for scalability, redundancy, and fault tolerance

implement automation and scripting tools to simplify system administration tasks

develop and maintain knowledge of industry-standard technologies and tools

conduct regular system audits and vulnerability assessments

collaborate with teams to implement continuous integration and delivery pipelines

Set up and participate in on-call rotation for production systems

create and maintain technical documentation for new systems and configurations

Qualifications

We are looking for roughly a 50% fit with for what we ask. The other 50% is a surprise to us, it is the magic you bring to the table and the diversity in which you make us grow.

you have minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, system administration, or related fields

you have strong knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems

you have extensive knowledge of cloud computing with Azure and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform/Terragrunt

you are familiar with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)

you have experience with containerization technologies and orchestration tools

you have experience with monitoring and logging tools

you have strong understanding of software reliability engineering principles and practices

you have excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently

you have strong communication and collaboration skills
