Operations Excellence Manager

Operations Excellence Manager

Your future tasks:

Build and lead a new global Data Analysis & Technical Support function to drive measurable performance improvements across the O&M portfolio.

Design, procure, and roll out the end‑to‑end ICT architecture, enabling secure, scalable data acquisition, management platforms, and shared data lake capabilities.

Set up and operate global control room capabilities, including IT environments, monitoring tools, and supporting infrastructure to enable 24/7 fleet oversight.

Act as Product Owner for Data‑Driven O&M (DDOM) solutions, setting the vision, prioritising the backlog, and aligning stakeholders to deliver high‑value digital capabilities.

Define, standardise, and enforce data standards across all sites, ensuring consistent reporting, reliable analytics, and decision‑making based on high‑quality data.

Own and evolve WTG performance analytics, covering condition monitoring, alarms/events, availability, losses, and fleet‑wide performance benchmarking.

Translate data insights into action, working with OEMs, site teams, and engineering to drive root‑cause resolution, track improvements, strengthen O&M governance, and feed lessons learned into future projects.

Your profile:

Bachelors degree (or higher) in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data/Analytics, Automation, Controls, or similar—or equivalent practical experience.

Masters degree or MBA preferred but not essential; equivalent senior leadership delivery experience will be considered.

Proven experience leading portfolio‑scale digital/OT initiatives across multi‑site, multi‑vendor, 24/7 operations.

Background in complex asset‑based industries such as wind, solar, storage, utilities (T&D), power generation, offshore/marine, oil & gas, chemicals, mining, or manufacturing, with transferable SCADA/telemetry/ICS exposure.

Hands‑on experience delivering OT/SCADA/telemetry commissioning, major upgrades, or large‑scale multi‑site rollouts.

Strong understanding of O&M, ideally gained through multiple operational or technical roles.

Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, decision‑making, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
