Corporate Controller Offshore d/f/m

To start as soon as possible, full time / part time, permanent

For our Corporate Controlling Offshore team, we are looking for a dedicated Financial Analyst /Corporate Controller d/f/m to take responsibility for management reporting and support the offshore growth strategy with long-term financial planning.

About the role

High quality management reporting regarding the financial business development to the RWE Offshore Board

Coordination of reporting processes for the global offshore business; Modeling of business cases for integration into planning and running scenario analyses

Analyzing and commenting on planning, forecast and actual financial statements in close coordination with the operational offshore controlling teams and accounting

Contact person for internal questions in the context of planning and forecasting processes Focus on accounting and tax

Mapping of complex accounting issues in planning and monthly liquidity forecasts

Contributing to the preparation of EU taxonomy reporting

Optimization of planning and reporting processes as well as controlling products, e.g. CFO template

Contributing to the evaluation of impairment tests (e.g. goodwill)Contributing to the further development and maintenance of IT solutions for the preparation of offshore medium and long-term planning

Job requirements and experience

Successfully completed university degree or equivalent in economics, finance, business administration or business informatics

At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in comparable commercial positions with knowledge of controlling, accounting, sustainable finance and financial management concepts; experience in offshore business an advantage

Very good knowledge of business modeling, information management systems and data management; knowledge of valuation is an advantage

Very good knowledge of IFRS financial reporting and excellent user knowledge of SAP BW/BI

Strong numerical skills to interpret data and information and present it in a clear format

Very good communication skills and a strong ability to present complex issues to management in a customer-oriented manner

Enjoy intercultural teamwork, high reliability and integrity as well as a high degree of self-organization, personal commitment and flexibility

Fluency in German and English
